Heyas to all!
I'm (obviously
) sadieandpeppermint. My Howrse name is sadieandpeppermint too. I've got three horses of my own! When I first created my Howrse account, I had just two horses, whose names are Sadie and Peppermint (hence the name!). Sadie is an extremely sweet, mild-mannered, gentle Quarter Horse. She was originally a school-horse before we bought her. Unfortunately, she's getting old and arthritis is hitting her legs beyond repair and she can no longer be ridden. But she will retire happily in the open prairies of Wyoming. Its sad to think that my first horse will soon be leaving me. She'll always hold a special place in my heart.
Peppermint is a sassy appaloosa who tends to act really tough, but does have a heart underneath her facade. She is an old fart, but still refuses to show it. She's as spirited as ever, bucks and kicks like a 2 year old when she's happy, and neighs and whinnies as a greeting to everyone! She's my second horse, the horse we got when my dad was ABSOLUTELY sure I was ready for a livelier horse.
And the newest arrival, Bud. He just turned 5, and he's got as much energy that a body can hold! He's a Quarter Horse, and he's the prettiest red roan I've ever seen. He absolutely loves humans, and will run from one end of the 10 acre pasture at top speed all the way to the other just to say hi to you! He also loves his two horse companions and is constantly trying to become a part of their close-knit freindship. He kind of interrupted their 2 years of bonding, and is now trying to enter into their circle. He's under-going training, and the final result will be spectacular, since he's an extremely fast learner and is always willing to work, as long as their is nothing distracting around!
