New Base for coat of the moment

Wow, they are all looking great! So is everyone ready to pick their final coat, or do you want another week to work?

i need another work i am dooing my third so far

Heh- I did three also. Technically I didn't finish one, Regan did the rest I'm gonna use Steel Sabino, what I've decided to name my grey sabino.

done with mine finally it was a quick job but it looks alright

Mine is done, so today is ok for me....and Horsaholic, U do know that one person cant win twice right?? Just wanna make sure.

twice in a row-if that was the cause eventually no one could win lol! i haven' entered the past like 5 times. but it don't matter to me it's just fun to make

But What I'm saying is that everyone should win eventualy...because mine and embers and jumpy's wont win if urs is in the running to WIN. I'm not saying not entering at all, just saying its not fair for one person to win twice when some people havent even won yet...

I think the point of the contest is to challenge yourself to do your best work. If someone else wins multiple times, see if you can learn from them. Take a good look at their coats and figure out what you can add to yours. I am obviously not entering because this is my base, but anyone else can even if they have won previously. I will wait until next Friday to let everyone have enough time. I would sincerely hope everyone votes according to artistic merit, not as a popularity contest.

I do the contest for fun and for practice- I don't think I've ever gotten past 2 votes, but oh well. Since I have another week to do this I might make a couple more. Practice, practice, practice!

i agree with cherry and horseaholic there is nothing in Robbin's Rules that says 1 members cant win twice in a row...this contest is based on how well you learn and advance... and it is not the one running the contest but the other members who do the voting and they vote on the one they think is the best... i dont enter that much either as mine isnt as good as some of the others. but i come in a i vote for the one i like the best.

thank you toni i agree, I don't always vote the one that looks the best i also vote for most improved or just the one that fancies me best! i don't usually even look at the name.
