I tried to get it to color, but it was set at grayscale, and I dont know how to get it to RGB Color.

Ah.. I had that problem too, but here's how I fixed it:
1. Copy the whole image.
2. Open a new blank image with nothing on it
3. Paste the image on there
4. Merge the image with the blank one
5. now decorate- this should work, tell me if you get stuck
