with my coats, if i take off the visibilty of the white underneath my coat, areas are basically transparent. i was wondering if this was normal.
also, this is for everyone, my method is to block in the whole coat and simple dodge and burn for the tone. though i think this method is why my coats lack lustre and go see through, but i am not sure how else to do it.
any advice would be appreciated.

ahhh gotchya!
what i do is i make the background trandparent but keep the horse white then either color in the horse or color it in piece by piece (or should i say stroke for stroke)
